Away To Arema Headquarters, Persib Without Captain Marc Klok
JAKARTA - Persib Bandung is scheduled to play an away match to Arema FC headquarters in the sixth week of Super League 2025/2026. However, on Monday, September 22, 2025, Indonesian Western Time (WIB) afternoon, Maung Bandung will not be strengthened by the captain, Marc Klok.
The match against Arema will take place at the Kanjuruhan Stadium, Malang, at 15.30 WIB. However, it is certain that Marc Klok will not be able to lead the Blue Prince Squad.
The reason is that he suffered an injury in the last match against Lion City Sailors in the Champions League Asia 2 (AFC Champions League Two).
The situation that occurred to Klok made the coach, Bojan Hodak, decide not to bring the captain to Malang.

Although he has not seen the results of the medical staff's examination, he believes the player is not ready when the injury is obtained on Thursday, September 18, 2025.
"He (Marc Klok) will not play. Even though he has not received the results of his injury examination, I do not believe he can appear in this match (the Arema FC counter). Indeed, he will not go with us (to Malang)," said Bojan Hodak as quoted from the official website I-League, Monday, September 22, 2025.
Klok's absence forced Bojan to formulate another strategy to fill the midfield. The option is that the coach can field William Marcilio, who is a former Arema FC player last season.
Hodak advised anyone who is trusted to appear later, it is hoped that they can show their best performance on the field.
"This opens up opportunities for other players. Anyone who plays must be able to take advantage of the opportunity to perform well and try to become a starting player," he said.
Persib did not have much time to prepare for the match against Arema after appearing in the Champions League 2. Bojan Hodak even only had two opportunities for training sessions in Bandung before leaving for Malang on Saturday, September 20, 2025, WIB night.
With that narrow time, Bojan Hodak decided to rotate when he visited Singo Edan's headquarters.
"Indeed, there wasn't much time. We have to see who is injured, who isn't, who is tired. So, there really needs to be some changes, but now we have more players," he said.
