Called By The KPK As A Suspect In Gas Station Digitization Corruption, Elvizar Former Director Of PT PCS Asks For Rescheduling

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has scheduled an examination of the former Director of PT Pacific Cipta Solusi, Elvizar today, September 22. He will be questioned as a suspect in the alleged corruption of digitizing PT Pertamina (Persero) public gas stations (SPBU) by PT Telkom.

"The investigation was carried out at the KPK's Red and White building," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo to reporters in a written statement, Monday, September 22.

Meanwhile, when confirmed separately, Budi said he had asked for a reschedule. He did not specify the exact time.

"Ask for rescheduling. Later it will be informed," he said.

Apart from Elvizar, investigators also scheduled a summons to Ernist Rindang Marojohan as General Manager of Business Service and Synergy Group of PT PINS Indonesia for the 2018-2020 period. "KPK has scheduled an examination of witnesses," said Budi.

Previously reported, the KPK is again investigating allegations of corruption at PT Pertamina (Persero). This time, the connection with the digitization project of public refueling stations (SPBU) allegedly occurred in 2019-2023.

To investigate this case, the KPK has issued an investigation warrant (sprindik) in September 2024. Three suspects have been named but have not been officially announced.

From the information gathered, the three suspects are DR and W from PT Telkom and Elvizar as Director of PT Pacific Cipta Solusi.

Elvizar is not only a suspect in this digitalization case. He is also the party that must be responsible for the alleged corruption in the procurement of EDC Himbara banks.

Elvizar is called the acting (Plt) Deputy for Enforcement and Execution of the KPK Asep Guntur Rahayu as a broker in these two different cases. He got a profit from his role, but on the one hand, it made him expensive to pay, resulting in state losses.

"The mode is the same. So the goods that Pertamina and the state-owned bank should be able to go directly to the principal, can go directly to the first provider, he (Elvizar, ed) is in the middle," Asep told reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Thursday, August 14.

"Even though he didn't give added value, he didn't add added value but he got some money," he continued.

As a result of Elvizar's role, Asep said, the process of procuring EDC and digitizing PT Pertamina's gas stations has become increasingly expensive. Because, the process is not direct with the first party providing the service.

"If only the user, both Pertamina and the state-owned bank, went directly to the first party, then the price would be cheaper, so this is an increase in prices. This is in the middle," he said.
