Tesla Signs To Launch Smaller Version Of Cybertruck

JAKARTA - In the past week, Tesla seems to provide strong clues regarding the two new vehicles that fans have long been waiting for, namely a Cybertruck-style SUV with a more concise version and also a Cyber SUV. These two cars may soon join Tesla's future line of products.

Demand for these two models has often been voiced by Tesla consumers and fans, considering Tesla currently doesn't have a large SUV capable of competing with models like Chevrolet Tahoe or Ford Expedition, while existing Cybertrucks are considered too large for the international market.

Teslarati reported, quoted Monday, September 22, a leak about the "Cyber SUV" has recently strengthened after a promotional video released by Tesla accidentally showed a hidden design maket. In the video, an SUV model with a highly Cybertruck-inspired design is seen behind the design studio, sparking widespread speculation among netizens and analysts. This design meets the expectations of many fans wanting a large family SUV, but with a unique futuristic aesthetic of Cybertruck. If realized, this model is predicted to be successful in the market.

Meanwhile, the need for a smaller Cybertruck is driven by challenges in the global market. Massive Cybertruck measures are not ideal for narrow roads in Europe and Asia, as well as facing regulatory constraints due to its dimension and sharp design. From the start, CEO Elon Musk himself has acknowledged the potential for a more concise version. This gives fans outside North America hope to finally have the iconic electric pickup.

Although Tesla has not provided official confirmation, these clues are in line with the way the company interacts with fans. In an interview, Tesla's Chief Designer, Franz von Holzhausen, admitted that the two vehicles were taken into consideration. Franz also gave instructions that Tesla would no longer use stainless steel shells for new vehicles, but the design inspired by Cybertruck might still be realized.
