This activity is an important series of PTK's Social and Environmental Responsibility Development (TJSL) programs that focus on marine literacy and environmental awareness development for the younger generation.
Carrying the theme 'Maintaining the Sea Coastal Ecosystem', Ocean LiteraSEA invites 50 students and teachers of SD Negeri Karangayu 02 Semarang to understand that the sea is not only a natural resource, but also an important ecosystem that supports human life. Through an educational and interactive approach, participants are equipped with insight into efforts to maintain coastal ecosystems, marine biota sustainability, and the importance of biodiversity. This material is delivered directly by the Maritime Service of Central Java Province, so that students can gain practical knowledge that is relevant to Indonesia's coastal conditions.
In addition to marine literacy, Ocean LiteraSEA presents Ocean Brug sessions, a creative activity that divides participants into 10 groups to create totebags with the theme sea and PTK ships. This activity was accompanied by representatives of PTK and the Young Innovation community, creating a fun learning experience while growing a sense of ownership of marine sustainability.
