Super League Results: Persijap Failed To Win Against 10 Persita Players

JAKARTA Persijap Jepara failed to secure full points despite winning the number of players over Persita Tangerang in the sixth week of the 2025/2026 Super League match.

The clash between the two teams took place at the Gelora Bumi Kartini Stadium, Jepara, Central Java, on Sunday, September 21, 2025. Persita was able to make a comeback and locked a narrow 2-1 victory over the hosts.

Playing in public for himself, Persijap Jepara's home team immediately made a surprise when the match had not yet been running for ten minutes.

They scored a quick goal in the ninth minute through Carlos Franca. The Brazilian player broke into the opposing team's goal with a slow header using a cross-feeding assist from his colleague Sudi Abdallah.

After being left behind, the hosts were hit badly during normal time in the first half with eight minutes remaining. Their player Muhammad Toha was kicked off the field for receiving a red card.

However, five minutes after halftime Persita was able to get up and equalize the score through Aleksa Andrejic. The Serbian player made his colleagues cheer thanks to Rayco Rodr Ibrahimez's pass.

Just two minutes later, it was Hokky Caraka's turn to record her name on the scoreboard. The Indonesian national team player brought his team ahead thanks to Andrejic's assist.

In the remaining long time, efforts to increase the score and efforts to find the equalizer goal continue. However, the score lasted until the end of the match.

Persijap, who excels, the number of players, appears more dominant with 52 percent possession of the ball, 14 shots, and five on target. On the other hand, Persita only had four shots which were all on target.

This result temporarily made Persita move up to 12th position in the standings with seven points. The full loss of points made Persijap stay in ninth place with eight points.
