Three Transjakarta Accidents This Month, DKI Provincial Government: Human Factor Findings
JAKARTA - Special Staff to the Governor of DKI Jakarta for Social Communication, Chico Hakim said that the Governor of DKI Pramono Anung had received reports from Transjakarta regarding bus accidents that had occurred several times recently.
In September, it was recorded that three Transjakarta buses had accidents. From his report, these cases were caused by human factors.
"The Governor pays special attention and the provincial government has asked to investigate these incidents. The findings are human factor," Chico told reporters, Sunday, September 21.
Chico said Pramono ordered Transjakarta to prioritize improvements based on the results of the investigation carried out by the internal safety team. Mainly targeting drivers or Transjakarta drivers.
"The focus of the improvement that will be made is strengthening the human factor aspect of the driver, especially regarding the strengthening of the training that will be carried out through the Transjakarta Academy and strengthening the fit to work process to ensure that all the drivers are fit while working," he explained.

For information, on Saturday, September 6, Transjakarta hit a shop on Jalan Raya Minangkabau, Setiabudi, South Jakarta. The incident resulted in a shopkeeper being injured.
Then, on Thursday, September 18, a Transjakarta bus was collided with a yellow truck in front of the Tarakan Regional General Hospital (RSUD), Cideng Village, Gambir District, Central Jakarta.
Then on Friday, September 19, a Transjakarta bus crashed into a kiosk, house, and vehicle belonging to a resident on Jalan Raya Cakung Station, Pulogebang Village, Cakung District, East Jakarta.
As a result of the incident, 6 people were injured, consisting of a driver or bus driver, a resident, and 4 customers.
DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung said he would evaluate Transjakarta services due to the bus accident that occurred some time ago.
It was recorded that in one month, the Transjakarta bus had an accident three times, ranging from hitting a building to being hit by another vehicle.
"We evaluate Transjakarta. Indeed, it's like this, sometimes it happens because someone cuts it and so on. So that way, of course we will fix it. It can't happen again," said Pramono at the Kemendikdasmen building, Central Jakarta, Sunday, September 21.
