Conor McGregor Claims Against Michael Chandler At UFC White House

JAKARTA Irish free fighting star Conor McGregor claims to have featured in a series of UFC matches at the White House which is planned to be held next year.

The former UFC two-division champion has continued to compete again for the first time in more than four years since suffering a broken leg in defeat against Dustin Poirier in July 2021.

At an event at Fox & Friends, the 37-year-old fighter said that Michael Chandler was his potential opponent he would face at the UFC Gadung Putih event in 2026.

"I was there [the White House duel card]. [I fought] Michael Chandler. Michael Chandler and I myself have appeared on The Ultimate Fighter show. We have a good relationship," McGregor claimed.

McGregor and Chandler are scheduled to meet again in June 2024 after appearing at The Ultimate Fighter. However, McGregor broke his toe during training, forcing the fight to be canceled.

Chandler himself welcomed plans to clash again with McGregor. He said it was an ideal duel he wanted.

"In my heart, I think I will fight Conor McGregor at the White House and that makes a lot of sense for various reasons," he said.

The mastermind behind the plan to hold an UFC fight at the White House is the President of the United States, Donald Trump. If it is in accordance with the plan then the event can be held at the beginning of next year.

The holding of the UFC event at the White House is part of the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence of the United States.

UFC CEO Dana White himself has repeatedly stated that he has no plans to hold an UFC fight at the White House until next February.

Despite this, White admits that she continues to make contact with McGregor, who looks very serious about returning to the long-awaited event.
