Hyundai Plans To Present A N Performance Line Of More Than 7 Models Until 2030

Hyundai plans to expand its future high-performance N vehicle line, targeting more than seven N models by 2030, and annual sales targets of up to 100 thousand units.

Based on a report from Driveau, quoted on Sunday, September 21, until 2030 Hyundai will continue to offer N versions of its core models, such as the existing i20 N and i30 Sedan N and electric vehicles, including future iterations from Ioniq 5 N and Ioniq 6 N.

This assurance was disclosed by the President and CEO of Hyundaihir Mulehoz. He said the N ranks would grow by more than seven models which would later develop into quite well-selling gasoline or hybrid vehicles.

"We expect (Hyundai line N) to end sales by 2030 from more than 100,000 vehicles, mainly in the US, Europe and Korea, but also in emerging markets: Australia, Britain and Canada," said Mu Mariaoz.

As is known, the current ranks of N Hyundai consist of i20 N, i30 N hatch, i30 Sedan N/Elantra N, Ioniq 5 N and Ioniq 6 N, while previously offering Kona N and Veloster N.

Previously, it was reported that Hyundai hybrid cars would get a performance line that is expected to launch in 2027, besides that according to the Auto Express report, a performance-oriented hybrid system will also appear in Kona N which is revived, along with the next generation i20N hatchback.

"It will not limit electric cars, and will go further ICE-based," said Hyundai N vice president Joon Park.

It is worth waiting for a breakthrough from Hyundai for the performance car line, and in Indonesia there is already Ioniq 5 N, there is also Creta to Kona.
