Fire In Lhokseumawe Renggut The Lives Of An Elderly Couple, An Injured Child

they died as a result of being trapped in the flames that burned their house on Jalan Blang Malo Gg Pandan, Tumpok Teungoh Village, Banda Sakti District, Lhokseumawe City, Aceh.
Babinsa TNI Koramil 16/Banda Sakti, Sertu Maulana Ishak, said this incident scorched two wooden houses, belonging to the two elderly who died and the house of an IRT, Zohra (55).
"The two elderly residents of the house are Salamuddin (80) an entrepreneur and Rafia (70) IRT," said Sertu Maulana Ishak, quoted by ANTARA, Sunday, September 21.
In addition, this incident was also Feri (38), the son of the two deceased, suffered burns to his hands, currently being treated at the Kesrem TK-3 TNI AD Lhokseumawe Hospital.
Sertu Maulana Ishak said that the fire that burned the house could only be extinguished for about two hours with the help of 10 fire department units belonging to the Lhokseumawe and North Aceh City Governments, assisted by personnel of Babinsa TNI Koramil 16/Banda Sakti, the police and local residents.

Meanwhile, one of the witnesses, Fikri Fadhilah, said that he had seen the victim Salamuddin burning garbage, and after that the victim rested. Allegedly, this fire was caused by sparks from the burning garbage.
"Initially Salamuddin burned garbage, then entered the house to rest, it was suspected that sparks of burning garbage were blown by the wind that spread to cause the house fire," said Fikri.
