Manchester United Legend Eric Cantona, Urges FIFA And UEFA To Ban Israel From International Events
JAKARTA - French football legend and Manchester United, Eric Cantona, have urged FIFA and UEFA to ban Israel from playing in international events under the auspices of the two associations.
He compared it to a rapid ban against Russia from football after its invasion of Ukraine.
In a concert titled Together for Palestine in London, Cantona - which is famous for her political attitude - expressed her views.
"Four days after the start of Russia's war in Ukraine, FIFA and UEFA banned Russia. We have now entered the 716th day of what Amnesty International calls genocide."

"However, Israel is still allowed to participate," Cantona said.
Meanwhile, Al Jazeera reported that today, September 20, 2025, 51 victims have died in Gaza City because Israeli forces continue to bombard.
Palestinian Civil Defense says nearly half of Gaza's city's population, or about 450,000 people, has fled the region since Israel launched major operations there in August 2025.
That figure includes six people who died as a result of an unmanned attack in the Tuffah neighborhood.
The Israeli attack on Gaza City has killed 38 people since dawn local time. Residents' homes were attacked without warning as Israeli military operations spread there.
