BSSN Supports Cybersecurity At The 2025 Indonesian MotoGP Event
CENTRAL LOMBOK - The National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN) is ready to support cybersecurity at the international MotoGP Indonesia motorcycle racing event at the Pertamina Mandalika Circuit, West Nusa Tenggara, on October 3-5, 2025.
"We ensure that all cybersecurity aspects run effectively, efficiently, and use all available resources, both at the center and at the event location at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit," said Head of BSSN Nugroho Sulistyo Budi in his statement in Mataram, Saturday.
He said that the Indonesian MotoGP in Mandalika is not just an international sporting agenda, but a state event.

Therefore, even without being asked, BSSN stated that it is ready to fully assist in ensuring the smooth and security of the world racing event which will take place at the Mandalika Circuit, Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara.
"Pertamina's Grand Prix of Indonesia is a state event. Without being asked, BSSN will definitely fully support its implementation," he said.
Meanwhile, MGPA President Director Priandhi Satria expressed his appreciation for the support provided by BSSN so far.
According to him, cybersecurity is one of the important factors in the success of the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia which has attracted the attention of the world.
"We are very grateful for the commitment of BSSN. Cybersecurity is a crucial aspect in organizing international-scale events such as the Mandalika MotoGP," he said.
He said this support ensures that the digital system used remains safe, smooth, and free from potential disturbances. The synergy between MGPA and BSSN is a tangible manifestation of cross-sectoral collaboration in order to maintain Indonesia's good name in the eyes of the world.
In addition to the readiness of circuit infrastructure and event management, information security and digital technology are now no less important.
With the involvement of BSSN, Andhi is optimistic that the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2025 will run safely, smoothly, and be able to improve Mandalika's reputation and Indonesia as the host of a professional and world-class MotoGP.
"BSSN prepared various concrete steps in supporting security during the event," he said.
