Imelda Therine Many Self Reflections After Playing In The Shiratal Mustaqim Bridge Film
JAKARTA - Actress Imelda Therine admitted that she was very enthusiastic when she starred in the film Jembatan Shiratal Mustaqim by the Dee Company production house which will air on October 9.
According to him, the script for the film was written with full accuracy, making him even more excited to explore his role.
"And I'm a player like that, of course I'm reading scripts (Shiratal Mustaqim Bridge film). And it turns out that I think it's very interesting to write the script carefully and correctly," said Imelda Therine in the Central Jakarta area, Thursday, September 18.
Imelda said this film is different from films in general because it is not a judge, but rather displays various perspectives of life.
"As an actor, I'm actually excited to bring my plot here because this film is not just a film that is judgetal, it raises perspectives in various lives," continued Imelda.
In his role, Imelda had the opportunity to play a woman who represented many other women with simple but meaningful dreams.
"That maybe from the plot I, a woman who represents many other women, want to have a beautiful family, who is happy, prosperous, sufficient," said Imelda Therine.

However, this film also presents reflective questions for him about the true meaning of happiness through the characters he plays.
"It turns out that there is a lot to be questioned about happiness itself. Do we deserve this happiness? Are we critical enough and empathetic about what we get in this world? Because everything will be accounted for after the world is over," he continued.
Although he has not watched the final results of the film, Imelda admits that he is very curious about how the story will be presented on the big screen.
"Maybe that's from my interesting plot that can be shared with the audience. And yes, I'm also very curious, so, what about it, because I haven't watched it myself. That's it," concluded Imelda.
Producer Dheeraj Kalwani further explained that the idea of this film was born from anxiety seeing the rampant corrupt practices in Indonesia.
"Corruption robs children and families of prayers, until someone walks alone in Shiratal Mustaqim. Through this film, the audience is invited to reflect that pious deeds and family prayers are much more valuable than the assets resulting from corruption," said Dheeraj Kalwani.
Apart from Imelda Therinne, the film Jembatan Shiratal Mustaqim will also feature Agus Kuncoro, Raihan Khan, Mike Lucock, Roy Ashari to Eduwart Manalu.
