The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Has Rescheduled The Summons Of The Head Of Special Investigation Unit Of The Kolaka Kejari, Yayan Alfian, Regarding The Bribery Of The Koltim Hospital
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will reschedule the summons of Yayan Alfian as Head of the Special Crimes Section of the Kolaka District Attorney regarding the alleged bribery for the construction of the East Kolaka Regional General Hospital (RSUD).
KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo said the reschedule was carried out because Yayan was not present. The examination needs to be coordinated with the Attorney General's Office (AGO).
"It is still being coordinated and will be rescheduled," Budi said when confirmed via text message, Saturday, September 20.
Meanwhile, the Acting Deputy for Enforcement and Execution of the KPK Asep Guntur Rahayu said Yayan was questioned because he was suspected of knowing the alleged bribery for the construction of the East Kolaka Hospital. He was summoned on Thursday, September 18.
"Yes, of course the person concerned (called because, ed) has something to do with the case we are handling," Asep told reporters quoted on Friday, September 19.
Asep has not detailed the connection between the bribery case and Yayan. He only confirmed that this figure knew about the slow practices that were being investigated.
Meanwhile, Yayan was asked for information on August 28 but was not explained whether or not he was present by the KPK.
Yayan's examination was scheduled at the Ditreskrimum Polda Sultra. He was examined along with a number of other witnesses, one of whom was Ageng Adrianto who was the acting (Plt) Head of the Koltim Public Works Service.
"So the law enforcement officers, whether the law enforcement officers then supervise the work being done or also have something to do with the work being done. So there is a job, to get a job, there are processes that must have something to do with it," said Asep.
"Because it is impossible for us to summon someone to be asked for information as a witness if it has nothing to do with the case," he continued.
