Arsenal Appoints Garlick As New CEO, Lewis Resigns In Board Of Directors Reshuffle

JAKARTA - Arsenal have announced the departure of a member of the Board of Directors, Tim Lewis, and confirmed that Richard Garlick will soon serve as the club's new CEO.

Garlick joined Arsenal in 2021 as Director of Football Operations before taking over as Managing Director last year.

"We are very pleased to promote Rich to be CEO after a very successful period as Arsenal's Managing Director."

"Rich has had a tremendous impact on all lines as we continue to struggle to win major trophies, achieve financial sustainability, and put our supporters at the center of everything."

"Currently, we would like to thank Tim for his continued dedication and commitment to Arsenal amid a period of transformative change for the club."

"He has played an important role and ensures we are in the right position to continue our strategy in ambition to win major trophies," Arsenal Chairman Josh Kroenke said in a statement.

In further reshuffles in the Board of Directors, Kelly Blaha and Otto Maly of Kroenke Sports & Entertainment (KSE) joined as Director of Non-Executives with senior KSE adviser Dave Steiner.

Producer and director, Ben Winston, Arsenal's seasonal ticket holder for more than 30 years, will also join the Board of Directors as Director of Non-Executives.
