Bimbim Says Slank Doesn't Feel Accompanied By The Presence Of AI

JAKARTA - Bimo Setiawan Almachzumi or more familiarly called Bimbim admitted that he was still comfortable working with Slank with the methods they had been running.

Although many musicians are worried about the presence of artificial intelligence (AI) in the music world, Bimbim said Slank was not worried, especially fear of losing competition.

"It's okay, it's not competitive, it's funny. Aapa, so there are many other variations. Yes, just intermezzo," said Bimbim to the media crew in Kemang, South Jakarta recently.

Bimbim sees that AI has been able to produce quality music. But for him, human thought work is more through the joint thinking done by Slank's results are still better.

In addition, Bimbim also said that a musician will be able to assess which music is produced with AI.

"If it's human, it can be dynamic, it can be explored and all kinds of things. And if musicians listen to the song, 'Ah, this is AI.' Yes, you know," he said.

Bimbim still believes that the originality of musicians is still better to enjoy, even though the onslaught of AI continues to arrive.

"Orisinality will definitely live more, even if it is attacked by AI music," said Bimbim.

"(Producing music through AI) is creative, but it's still visible that it's not human," he said.
