For The Sake Of Women And Self-respect, Teenager Suspect Of Murder In Cilincing Claims No Revenge

The suspect in the murder case in Cilincing, North Jakarta, Andi Al-azhar Sofyan alias AAS alias Caka (37) admitted that he had no grudge against the victim MY (19). This was revealed by the suspect to the police at the North Jakarta Police Headquarters on Friday, September 19, 2025.

"There is no (dendam), just when challenged," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the North Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Onkoseno Gradiarso Sukahar to VOI.

MY victim was found dead in a boarding room in the Kalibaru area, Cilincing District, North Jakarta.

The perpetrator admitted that he killed MY victim because he had been challenged by a duel. However, when they met, there was no resistance from MY victim against the perpetrator.

"There was a verbal altercation, then the perpetrator attacked the victim by stabbing," he said.

The suspect carried out the stabbing of MY once. However, the stab wound was fatal enough that the victim died instantly.

"The stabbing occurred once, making sure it was straight because the position was tilted, because the knife was 30 centimeters long," said Kompol Onkoseno.

When the incident occurred, the situation at the scene seemed deserted from the activities of local residents. Meanwhile, the stabbing incident happened so quickly.

"The perpetrator immediately stabbed him in the vital parts so that there was no reaction from the victim. The badik type of weapon had been brought by the perpetrator," he said.

Previously, it was reported that a young man named Mohammad Yusuf (19) was found dead covered in blood in his rented room in the Kalibaru area, Cilincing, North Jakarta.

The victim died tragically after being killed by his colleague due to a love triangle scandal. Well, the perpetrator was desperate to kill the victim after the perpetrator was jealous if his ex-girlfriend had sex with the victim. The perpetrator was also caught on CCTV cameras.

Cilincing Police Chief, AKP Bobi Subasri confirmed the incident. Police also managed to arrest the perpetrators of the murder.

"The perpetrator with the initials A (has been arrested). The perpetrator and the victim know each other," said AKP Bobi when confirmed, Friday, September 19, 2025.

Meanwhile, based on the CCTV footage received, it was seen that the perpetrator was wearing a blue t-shirt and hat coming with someone suspected of being his colleague to the victim's rented room in the Kalibaru area, Cilincing. For his actions, the perpetrator was charged with multiple articles.
