Pertamina Regarding The Quality Of Private Gas Station Fuel Interested By The Community: Become Pertamina's Homework
JAKARTA - President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero), Simon Aloysius Mantiri, emphasized that there is no monopoly in the distribution of fuel in Indonesia.
This is related to the scarcity of fuel at private gas stations which has gone viral on social media. This was conveyed to reporters at the State Palace Complex, Jakarta, Friday, September 19.
Private gas stations such as Shell, Vivo, and BP are being hit by scarcity. According to Simon, this is because the import quota for private gas stations in 2025 has been used up.
Regarding imports, Pertamina has held a meeting with the management of a private gas station at the ESDM office on Friday, September 19.
To reporters, Simon also felt that Pertamina had to improve itself regarding the quality of Pertamina gas stations which were considered not better than private gas stations.
This assumption arose when it was widely reported that there was an mixed practice between BBM RON 90 and 92 and was sold with the Pertamax label. Not to mention the problems in oil and gas governance which add to the negative view of the community.
