Big Hole On Jalan MT Haryono Eat Victims, Dahi Victim Robek, Gigi Patah

JAKARTA - A motorcycle rider with the initials RMBT (31) fell while avoiding a hole on Jalan Letjen MT Haryono, precisely on the Pancoran flyover, South Jakarta.

"A single accident," said Head of Sub-Directorate for Gakkum Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya AKBP Ojo Ruslani to reporters in Jakarta, Friday.

He explained that the accident occurred on Friday morning at 06.30 WIB, involving a Honda Vario motorcycle with plate number B 4121 EFR.

Initially, the motorcycle driven by the victim drove from east to west. Arriving at the Pancoran flyover, the victim avoided the hole on the road.

"Then swerved to the right and hit the concrete barrier of the road, then the Honda Vario motorcycle fell," said Ojo.

As a result of the collision, the victim fell and suffered a torn wound on the forehead and a broken front teeth. The victim was immediately rushed to Budhi Asih Hospital for medical treatment.

The victim is known to have the status of a state civil servant (ASN) and is domiciled in North Tambun, Bekasi Regency.

The condition of the vehicle the victim was traveling in suffered minor damage to the front fender. Until now, the exact cause of the accident is still under further investigation.

"The temporary assumption is that the cause of the accident is in investigation," said Ojo.

Meanwhile, the victim's colleague named Rangga confirmed that the victim did not die.

The statement refuted the information circulating on social media, as uploaded by the @jakarta.terkini Instagram account.

Rangga said the victim was being treated at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta, for further treatment, after previously being rushed to the Budhi Asih Hospital.

"In a conscious condition, currently it has been handled at the Police Hospital, earlier at half past 11 it arrived at the Police Hospital," explained Rangga.

According to him, the victim had an accident while on his way to his office in the Gambir area, Central Jakarta.
