Bandung Zoo Tourism Crowded With Visitors On H+1 Lebaran
JAKARTA - One of the tourist destinations in the city of Bandung, West Java, namely Bandung Zoo or Bandung Zoological Garden (Bazoga) many visitors on H +1 Eid al-Fitr 1442 Hijri.
Bazoga publicist Aan Sulhan said that as of Friday afternoon there were more than 2,500 visitors. According to him, the figure is still far from the capacity limit of 50 percent of visitors which is 6,000 people.
"Normal visitor capacity first, we can 12,000 people at the same time, open the lid it can be 12,000, we are now given 50 percent means it can only be 6,000 people," said Aan reported antara.
Despite receiving thousands of visitors, he ensured that COVID-19 health protocols remained strictly enforced from the entrance to the exit.
According to him, security officers and COVID-19 task force from local sub-districts were scattered. They, he said, encourage and remind visitors to discipline health protocols.
"We admit there are a lot of places crowding like in the show, we keep reminding people who don't wear masks, then not far away, we keep reminding," he said.
Aan said the open-close system will be carried out if the number of visitors has reached 6,000 people. The restrictions were put in place to prevent visitors from enslaving inside Bazoga.
"Right now from the COVID-19 Task Force around, urging people not to go in groups, if one family is allowed, the dangerous ones are in throes with the others," he said.
Meanwhile, access to Bazoga, namely on Tamansari Street, Bandung City, has been closed by the police. Even so, the visitors are still there and coming.
