KPop Demon Hunters Most Watched On Netflix, 300 Million Views
JAKARTA - KPop Demon Hunters is the most watched Korean film on Netflix. Netflix's official website, Tudum noted that this animated film has been watched by 300 million views since its release on June 20.
Three months after its release, the film KPop Demon Hunters still occupies the Top 10 Global on Netflix. As a result, this film became the first film on Netflix to be watched by 300 million views.
This film immediately shifted the first season of the Squid Game series which earned 265 million views in its release in 2021.
Until now, the film directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans still feels at home at the Top 10 for 18 countries including the United States, Japan, Germany, so that the record is likely to continue to grow.
The soundtrack of the KPop Demon Hunters film is also the first Korean film to be on the Billboard 200 and Billboard Hot 100 and UK Charts. This proves the popularity of this animation is unstoppable.
