Macron Says Iran Will Be Sanctioned By UN By The End Of September For Nuclear Programs
French President Emmanuel Macron stressed that the re-implementation of United Nations (UN) sanctions against Iran will occur at the end of September.
This sanction called Macron was decided because Tehran was not serious in its negotiations with European powers to prevent it.
"Yes. I think so because the latest news from Iran is not serious," Macron was asked in an interview on Channel 12 Israel.
Earlier Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi made phone calls with British, French, and German foreign ministers on Wednesday.
Tehran is trying to avoid reimposing international sanctions on its nuclear program.
As reported by Reuters, a French diplomatic source said the phone call was aimed at discussing the re-implementation of upcoming UN sanctions by European countries and to reaffirm the requirements they have set for Tehran so that the decision could be postponed.

In June, Israel and the United States attacked Iran's nuclear facilities, arguing Iran was too close to being able to produce nuclear weapons, and the IAEA inspection was halted due to security concerns and complaints from Tehran.
