Israel Will Attack Hezbollah's Military Infrastructure In South Lebanon

JAKARTA - The Israeli military will attack Hezbollah's military infrastructure in southern Lebanon in response to Hezbollah's efforts to rebuild its activities in the region.

Lebanon is under pressure from the United States, Saudi Arabia, and competing countries of domestic Hezbollah to strip the militant group of weapons.

Hezbollah said it would be a grave mistake if it discussed the cessation of weapons while Israel continued to carry out airstrikes against Lebanon and occupied most parts of southern Lebanon.

"We give an urgent warning to residents of buildings marked red. to vacate the buildings," wrote Israeli military spokesman Avichay Adraee on X.

Adraee also shows maps of three villages in Lebanon, namely Mays al-Jabal, Kfar Tebnit, and Dibbine.

He said the attack would take place in "near future" without giving specific time.

The United States mediated a ceasefire in November between Lebanon and Israel after more than a year of conflict sparked by the war in Gaza.
