Apple Prepares Software Update To Solve IPhone Air And IPhone 17 Pro Camera Problems

JAKARTA - Apple will certainly release a software update to address camera problems found on the iPhone Air and iPhone 17 Pro.

Although the new iPhone 17 line will officially launch on September 19, 2025, in the US, a number of preliminary reviews of the iPhone Air and iPhone 17 Pro have highlighted the advantages and shortcomings of Apple's latest devices.

Many reviewers praised the long battery life and the choice of bright colors on the iPhone 17 Pro. Meanwhile, the iPhone Air received attention because of its very thin design. However, one review found camera problems on both devices.

As reported by MacRumors, Henry Casey of CNN Underscored revealed a disturbance when photographing the concert using the iPhone Air. In the shots, visual disturbances can be seen in the form of blackened photo parts as well as the appearance of boxes and white graffiti on almost every 10th photo.

Apple explains that these problems can occur in very rare conditions, especially when the iPhone camera leads directly to a very bright LED light display. The company insists that its team has prepared a software update to address the problem, although no release date has yet been announced.

The iPhone Air and iPhone 17 Pro itself will start to be available in stores and sent to customers on Friday 19 September in the US. It is possible that Apple will release a small update on the same day to ensure the camera's problems do not spread.
