Police Meet With Interpol, Accelerate Red Notice Issuance Riza Chalid
JAKARTA - The National Police through the International Relations Division (Divhubinter) met Interpol in Lyon, France. The goal is to accelerate the issuance of red notices for Muhammad Riza Chalid (MRC).
It is known that Muhammad Riza Chalid is a fugitive from the Attorney General's Office (Kejagung) in the alleged corruption case of crude oil governance and refinery products at PT Pertamina Persero Sub Holding-KKKS for the period 2018-2023.
"We are trying to communicate with Interpol so that the Red Notice will be issued immediately," said Ses NCB Divhubinter Polri, Brigadier General Untung Widyatmoko to VOI, Thursday, September 18.
With intense communication, it is hoped that the issuance process will be accelerated. Thus, all state police who are members of Interpol will assist the search process.

"The National Police will try their best regarding the red notice application," said Untung.
In an effort to hunt down Riza Chalid's whereabouts, the AGO is known to have included his name in the People's Wanted List (DPO) as of August 19, 2025.
From the tracking, Riza Chalid is suspected of being in Malaysia. In fact, he has married a relative of the Sultanate of the neighboring country.
