Iron Fence At The Bekang Cakung Dit Dormitory Bus Stop Is Stolen By Thieves

JAKARTA - Iron fence stop at the Dit Bekang (Yon Air) dormitory on Jalan Tipar Cakung, RW 02, Semper Barat Village, Cilincing District, North Jakarta, was reported missing by thieves.

According to witness testimony, AA, security, the perpetrator stole the iron fence on the right side, it was gone. The theft has occurred since 1 year ago.

The theft took place gradually.

"Initially the iron was still there but only half, but the iron ran out for a long time," said witness AA, Thursday, September 18, 2025.

However, the witness did not know who stole the iron, possibly the theft at night.

"At night sometimes a lot of children hang out in the park. Indeed, the lighting around the stop is dark because the street lights are blocked by large trees and shady trees which are located next to the bus stop," he said.

Cilincing Police Chief AKP Bobi Subasri confirmed the report. He ordered his staff to respond to every incident and public report.

"We have visited the TKP and coordinated with PJU and Parks regarding street lighting and pruning the large tree," he said when confirmed, Thursday, September 18, 2025.

The police chief appealed to the public if they saw the theft and teenagers gathered to contact the police.
