Before Being Kidnapped, The Head Of The Red Plate Bank For Murder Victims Often Parked Cars Outside The Complex

JAKARTA - Boyamin Saiman, as the attorney for the chief assistant branch (KCP) of the state-owned bank for the murder of Muhammad Ilham Pradipta or MIP (37) revealed a number of oddities that occurred about a week before the kidnapping at a shopping center in East Jakarta on Wednesday, August 20, then.

First, said Boyamin, the victim began parking his car 300-400 meters from his house which showed discomfort. The point where the MIP parked the car was outside the complex. It was as if it showed that the victim had obscured the location where he lived.

"The victim looked uncomfortable a week before (before the day of the kidnapping). Parking a car outside the complex, never (previously). So it was said that the security guard (victim) walked about 300-400 meters (to his house) in South Tangerang," Boyamin told reporters at Polda Metro Jaya, Jakarta, Wednesday, September 17.

Boyamin explained that the victim's wife did not know the real reason the car was parked outside the complex by the victim.

"It was buried on its own, but that the activity was finally discovered. In fact, his wife knew that he was the marker (car) (far from home), right after the incident, the security guard informed him. Because his wife was also not very aware of the position of the car, because (MIP) came home at night. Then early in the morning he left," said Boyamin.

Then, Boyamin explained, there were people who were caught stalking the victim's old house as a child in the Bogor area. Even though the victim already lives in the South Tangerang area.

"Then there are also people who come to the branch office, Cempaka Putih (where the victim works), they want to take care of the ATM, but they don't bring ID cards. The account was asked, they didn't. But in the end they asked to meet the leadership. That means they wanted to meet the leadership, right, but then it didn't work," said Boyamin.

Based on the facts of the investigation, the suspects needed the authority of the bank's KCP class to transfer funds from the dormant (rescalated) account to the account that had been prepared by the suspects.

Head of the Sub-Directorate of Crime and Violence (Kasubdit Jatantas) Polda Metro Jaya AKBP Abdul Rahim added, before the kidnapping took place, the mastermind of the perpetrator with the initials K alias C had invited DH to look for the head of the bank branch who wanted to be invited to cooperate.

"But on the way, after a long time, for more than 1 month, they did not manage to get the head of the bank branch who wanted to be invited to cooperate," he said at a press conference on Tuesday (16/9).

From there, K then submitted the data he had in the field, in the form of a name card belonging to MIP. The data was then sent to DH and used to trace the whereabouts of the victim.

"When the DH agreed to take option one action, namely kidnapping the victim of the branch head, K gave, this was a name card from one of the branch heads. For this reason, the name card was handed over to DH, sent to DH, then DH conducted a search," he said.

It is known that the MIP victim was found dead in a rice field area in Serang Baru, Bekasi Regency on Thursday (21/8) with his face, feet and hands wrapped in black duct tape. Previously, Ilham was kidnapped in a shopping center parking lot in Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta on Wednesday, August 20.
