The Position Of The Minister Of SOEs Is Empty, Three Deputy Ministers Become Strong Candidates To Replace Erick Thohir
JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto officially inaugurated Erick Thohir as Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) replacing Dito Ariotedjo. Currently, the position of the Minister of SOEs is vacant after being left by Erick Thohir.
Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg) Prasetyo Hadi emphasized that the position of the definitive SOE Minister has not been appointed because President Prabowo Subianto is still looking for the right person.
"The Minister of State-Owned Enterprises has not been appointed because we are still looking for a figure, by moving duties to Mr. Erick Thohir to the Ministry of Youth and Sports," he told reporters at the State Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday, September 17.
Even so, Prasetyo ensured that the vacancy would not be left for too long. According to him, it is very likely that the acting (Plt) of the Minister of SOEs will be filled from the ranks of the current deputy ministers.
The three names of the deputy ministers of SOEs are said to be strong candidates, namely Kartika Wirjoatmodjo alias Tiko, Dony Oskaria, and Aminuddin Ma'ruf.
"The possibility of the deputy minister," he said briefly.
The three of them are considered to have understood very well about the big map of BUMN. Even so, Prasetyo said it had not been decided who would be chosen to replace Erick Thohir.
"Not yet, not yet, I haven't signed it yet," he said.

Previously, it was reported that the Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Erick Thohir opened his voice regarding his successor at the Ministry of SOEs. Erick said who will be appointed later, it will be completely the decision of President Prabowo Subianto.
"If the SOE itself has a Plt, we will wait for the president's decision, the Minister of State Secretary later," he told reporters at the State Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday, September 17.
When asked whether he would replace his position as one of the Deputy Ministers of SOEs, Erick admitted that he did not know about it.
"Wow, I don't know. I don't know. That's the president's prerogative," he said.
