JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated Djamari Chaniago as Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs (Menko Polkam) replacing Budi Gunawan today, Wednesday, September 17.

From the website of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Djamari was last recorded as submitting a report on the assets of state administrators (LHKPN) in 2002 or while serving as the Chief of General Staff of the TNI.
His wealth reached Rp3,239,579,188 and 46,689 US dollars. Djamari is also recorded as having no debt.

Still in the same report, Djamari recorded ownership of assets in the form of vehicles worth Rp. 850,500,000 consisting of Land Rover in 1988 with a grant status; Kia in 2002 with a value of Rp. 130 million; BMW in 2001 with a value of Rp. 375 million; and two units of Harley Davidson in 1999 worth Rp. 90 million and Rp. 80,500,000.
