Police Reveals Continuation Of Hard Drive And Laptop Theft Cases Containing Unreleased Beyonce Songs
JAKARTA - The latest news comes from Beyoncé, who has to face an important data theft case amid the success of the Cowboy Carter world tour.
According to a Rolling Stone report, a man has been arrested in connection with the alleged theft of a hard drive containing unreleased musical material belonging to the star.
The theft took place in Atlanta, Georgia, USA this summer, when Beyoncé held a concert tour. Local police authorities received reports of theft from a vehicle reportedly chartered by Beyonce choreographer Christopher Grant.
In the car, there are two suitcases containing hard drives and two laptops. These items store a variety of important information, ranging from musical material that has not been released from Beyoncé, recording plans for upcoming performances, a list of songs for future concerts, to other sensitive information.
At that time, the authorities had issued an arrest warrant for the suspect, but his name was not disclosed to the public.
Now, the Atlanta Police Department has made arrests in connection with the theft case. The suspect named Kelvin Evans was detained and put in Fulton County Prison on August 26. He was charged with entering a car or other motorized vehicle with the intention of committing theft or crime.
To date, Evans has not been released. Police reports also state that the stolen items have not been found.

In the 911 emergency call footage released by authorities, Grant said, "They took my computer, and there was very, very important information in it. I worked with someone who was, like, of high status, and I really needed computers and everything."
Grant and singer Diandre Blue reported two suitcases stolen from a Jeep Wagoneer rental car. The suitcases contain personal sensitive information for musician Beyonce.
In a police call, the two reported that the vehicle's trunk window had broken. The police then took fingerprints from the scene and an incident report has been confirmed. Investigators then managed to identify a car in the area based on available information. An arrest warrant for a suspect was issued on July 14.
Grant also reported that more than $1.000 worth of Tom Ford's clothing, sunglasses, book bags, MacBook Air, and a pair of Apple headphones were also stolen in the incident.
For information, Beyoncé held four nights of performance at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta, as part of the Cowboy Carter tour. He then ended his tour with two shows in Las Vegas, Nevada.
