3 Travelers Who Crossed The River In Riau Destination To West Sumatra Killed Dragged By The Current
PADANG - The joint SAR team finally found the three travelers who reportedly drifted away while trying the Eid 2021 homecoming from Riau to West Sumatra by crossing the river.
"Thanks to the search conducted by the joint SAR team, finally the three victims who crossed the river were found in different locations", said Commander of SAR Limapuluh Kota Post, Robi Saputra, in Nagari Sarilamak, Harau District, Limapuluhkota Regency, Sumbar, Friday, May 14.
The three victims, who were pronounced dead on Wednesday, May 12, were found dead at different locations and times.
The first victim named Rajis was found in the Tanjung Kampar area around 07.25 WIB, Fadil victim was found in Muara Takus Temple around 09.17 WIB.
The last victim was Nofiarisman aka Nono found in an Antuan island area around 11.15 am.
"After being found, the three victims were taken to a funeral home", he said.

They crossed the river by boat from Riau, precisely in Tanjung Village to go to West Sumatra with plans to get off at Nagari Muaro Paiti.
It's just that in the middle of the trip, precisely in Toluak Subanio Nagari Muaro Paiti, the boat was overturned and three people were declared drifting.
Joint SAR officers have been working since the day the incident was reported until Friday, May 14, to find the three victims.
In other parts, the search effort also involves SAR Pekanbaru, Regional Disaster Management Agency Pekanbaru, police, TNI, Firefighters, and others, said Robi Saputra.
