Novia Bachmid And Lullaboy Call Many Unique Voice Contestants At Veiled Musician Indonesia
JAKARTA - Novia Bachmid and lullaboy are the two names acting as judges at the Veiled Musician Indonesia, the singing audition program from South Korea which is now being presented in Indonesia.
The audition has started since early August. Now, the selected participants will undergo their first four rounds of broadcast on RTV on September 21 at 21.00 WIB until the winner will be selected who will fight with participants from other countries in South Korea.
As a judge who has audited hundreds of people, Novia mentioned that she has found many new talents, especially those who have unique voice characters.
"There are so many who have unique, characterless, and different voices. Until we are confused about which one to choose from," said Novia during a press conference with the Indonesian Eiled Musician in Kuningan, South Jakarta, Tuesday, September 16.
"Because there are those who have strong vocals, but there are also those who carry the song more with a strong taste. So it's very confusing," he added.
According to what Novia said, lullaboy even said that there were participants who had attracted his attention.

"There are contestants whose voices are super-special, which I've never heard before," said lullaboy.
The Indonesian-Singapore-blooded soloist continued, participants in general also have good abilities in conveying messages from songs performed.
"I'm sure that the contestants (who will appear and be broadcast on RTV) are singers who can convey song messages well," added lullaboy.
One thing that is unique to Indonesia's Veiled Musician, the identity of the participants is not revealed, even to the jury.
In the four rounds which will be broadcasted except for the Grand Final, the participants sing on stage with a curtain closed, so that the jury can only conduct an assessment of the quality of the vocals, without considering the participants' visuals.
"We can't see who the contestants are, up to the Grand Final. So, we can only judge from the quality of the vocals, not from what physicality it is," said Novia.
"In my opinion, this is very fair, especially for singers," he concluded.
Apart from Novia Bachmid and lullaboy, Tiwi T2 was also lined up as a judge. Meanwhile, South Korean singer-songwriter Paul Kim will act as guest judge at the Grand Final.
