Bengkulu Provincial Government Ensures That The Baby's Condition From The Mouth Has Improved
BENGKULU - Bengkulu Provincial Government stated that the health condition of babies who experience worms from their mouths and noses has now improved after receiving medical treatment.
"Yes, the condition of the baby has now been handled by experts, Alhamdulillah, there has been a change. But this latest report has started to improve," said Acting Head of the Bengkulu Provincial Health Office, Edriwan Mansyur, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, September 16.
The Health Office referred the 1.5-year-old baby to the M Yunus Regional General Hospital, Bengkulu Province to provide optimal medical treatment for the baby.
"He was referred to M Yunus Hospital and has been treated by a pediatrician. Then, we coordinated again with Seluma Regency so that preventive measures were taken in the area of origin of the baby," he said.
According to him, actually a similar incident also happened to another child, the baby's older brother. The local government has also provided medical treatment.
"This family has a previous history, his brother also experienced a similar incident. It's only possible that in terms of use or following the rules such as yesterday's administration of worm medicine, maybe it was not obeyed. So we have done the administration of worm medicine at least 2 times a year. Then there may be environmental factors yesterday," he said.
