University Film Student In London Found Dead After Jumping From 8th Floor Mega Glodok Mall Kemayoran

JAKARTA - NG (25) a student at the film faculty from London, England, was found dead in a pathetic manner at Mega Glodok Mall, Kemayoran, Jalan Angkasa Raya, Kemayoran District, Central Jakarta. The victim committed suicide by jumping from the 8th floor.

"It is suspected that he committed suicide, jumped from the 8th floor. There were also CCTV footage that were secured," said Kemayoran Police Chief Kompol Agung Ardiyansyah when confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, September 16, 2025.

Currently, as many as two witnesses are still being questioned at the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kemayoran Police.

"There were two witnesses who saw the victim. The witness saw the victim's leg jumping," he said.

As a result of the incident, the victim was found dead in a pathetic manner. His body was found with a fracture and the victim's head was seriously injured.

The victim NG is a visitor at the Mega Glodok shopping center in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta. The victim is known as a resident of Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta.

NG is a student of the final semester of film faculty at a university in London, England.

At the time of the incident, the victim was returning to Indonesia for a vacation while working on a thesis assignment. Meanwhile, the motive for the death of the victim is still under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kemayoran Police.
