Apple Officially Launches IOS 26, This Is A Compatible Device And A New Feature List

JAKARTA Apple has finally launched iOS 26, the latest operating system (OS) that users have been waiting for since the software was exhibited at the Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) 2025.

Rows of New Features on iOS 26

iOS 26 is much awaited because of its latest design, namely Liquid Glass. The appearance is inspired by the Vision Pro interface, where the elements look like see-through mirrors. This design gives a new and elegant look to the entire operating system.

In addition, Apple will also get a lot of app updates. For example, the Phone app now has a more integrated look. Apple also added a new calling filtering feature that can respond to calls from unknown numbers.

The feature will ask for the name and destination of the call before the user lifts it. Not only that, the Messages application now has features similar to other popular chat applications.

Users can create polls, embed chats, and view photo previews with a better look. Apple is also increasing SMS filtering to reduce spam messages.

Apple Music got an update with an interesting automixing feature. This feature allows users to transition songs smoothly and dynamically. In addition, users can now embed your favorite songs or playlists at the top.

Although not as much as last year, iOS 26 brought some new AI features. Apple will add a translation feature based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in apps such as Messages and FaceTime. The feature currently supports only a few key languages.

iOS 26 also increases visual intelligence to understand content on the screen. By pressing the Power button and bottom volume, users can ask questions about the content they are seeing. This feature uses Google Visual Search or ChatGPT.
