YD Presents Update For The PHEV Seal 07 DM-i Sedan, Installed With This Superior Technology

JAKARTA - BYD officially launched the PHEV Seal 07 DM-i sedan for the local market (China), which brings some improvements.

Quoting from the Carnewschina page, Tuesday, September 16, the most prominent increase in Seal 07 DM-i 2026 includes an optimized front display, integrated lidar sensors mounted on the roof, and the introduction of the God's Eye-B intelligent driving assistance system. or DiPilot 300.

In terms of exterior appearance, it still carries the philosophy of the design "Seaesthetics" which means BYD, Seal 07 DM-i 2026 features a closed front culling, flanked by a sleek and sleek front light cluster, as well as three-part air intake.

A small change can be seen from the removal of the LED light strip under the headlights. On the back, this vehicle retains the design of an integrated rear light typical of the Seal family.

This new model has a length of 4,995 mm, a width of 1,900 mm, and a height of 1,495 mm, with an axis distance of 2,900 mm. These figures show a slight increase in length of 15 mm and a width of 5 mm compared to the previous model.

In the interior, Seal 07 DM-i 2026 continues the family-oriented BYD interior design, marked by a clean and minimalist center console.

The car is equipped with a 10.25-inch embedded LCD instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch floating central control screen that stands out. The cabin is also equipped with a four-stop steering wheel, a pressneling lever installed in the steering column, and a 50W wireless charger pad for mobile devices.

Behind the hood, Seal 07 DM-i 2026 retains recognized DM5.0 BYD plug-in hybrid technology. The engine varies depending on the variant, some combine 1.5L machines with a maximum power of 74 kW or 1.5T engines with a power of 115 kW.

These machines are combined with electric propulsion motors that generate a maximum power of 215 hp or 268 hp. This vehicle offers pure electric travel distances in CLTC count of 135 km and 230 km.

Regarding prices, this environmentally friendly car is priced starting from 149,800 yuan or around Rp. 344 million.
