Football Insider revealed on Friday, September 12, 2025, that Salah will not necessarily last the next two years at Liverpool and is likely to soon make decisions about his future, with the Saudi Arabian Pro League as the most likely destination.
However, a Football Insider source stated that Real Madrid had been linked with a surprise move for Salah. He is likely to catch up with Trent Alexander-Arnold and possibly Ibrahima Konate to the Santiago Bernabeu.
However, Liverpool will not be in a hurry to do business with Real Madrid after Alexander-Arnold's departure.
Meanwhile, Football Insider in June 2025 reported that Saudi Arabia's Pro-League clubs will return with a better offer for Salah and Bruno Fernandes, who chose to stay at Liverpool and Manchester United, respectively.
Liverpool Prepare Salah's Substitute
Football Insider revealed on September 8, 2025 that Real Madrid are ready to make Liverpool suffer even more by potentially beating them in getting Marc Guehi next summer, after his move to Anfield failed.
While this will definitely allow Liverpool to keep Konate, Real Madrid has Guehi and Alexander-Arnold in defense and it's likely Salah in attack will be an unpleasant idea at Anfield.
Liverpool have identified Michael Olise as a suitable replacement for Salah, but they prefer to keep the Egyptian as long as possible before he goes anywhere other than Real Madrid.
