Pertamina Trans Kontinental Gives Assistance To Basic Needs To People Affected By Floods In Bali
JAKARTA PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental (PTK), a subsidiary of PT Pertamina International Shipping (PIS), moved quickly to distribute basic needs assistance for communities affected by the flood that hit several areas in Bali.
This action is a tangible manifestation of PTK's commitment to always be present in the community, provide moral and material support, and ease the burden on residents who are facing difficult times.
The assistance distributed was in the form of food packages containing rice, cooking oil, instant noodles, eggs, biscuits, milk, canned food, and other basic necessities. The handover of aid was carried out on Friday, September 12, 2025, through coordination with the Bali Province Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) so that it is right on target and can be immediately distributed to the evacuation kitchen post.
The President Director of PTK, I Ketut Laba, emphasized that the existence of PTK is not only supporting Pertamina Group's business operations, but also playing an active role in strengthening the social resilience of the community.
"We believe that the success of the company must provide direct benefits for the community. This assistance is a form of PTK's concern for the Balinese people affected by the flood, as well as our commitment to be present, help, and support post-disaster recovery. We want to show that PTK is not only focused on maritime services, but also cares about social and humanitarian sustainability," he said in a written statement, Monday, September 15.
