Foden And Guardiola Present Manchester Derby Victory To Boxing Legend Ricky Hatton
JAKARTA - Phil Foden and Pep Guardiola presented a 3-0 win at the Manchester Derby between Manchester City vs Manchester United for legendary England boxer Ricky Hatton.
News of the death of former world champion Hatton--identical to Manchester City--at the age of 46, comes just hours before the game starts.
Manchester City said they were devastated and lively applause for one minute before the match.
Foden scored The Citizens' opener before Erling Haaland added two more goals.

After the match, when asked if the win was for Hatton, Foden said on Sky Sports agreed.
"One hundred percent. I have extra motivation for this match. This is for him and his family, and for the people who are suffering from now on."

"My deepest condolences to his family, in this difficult time. Of course hearing the news right before the big game was heartbreaking."

Meanwhile, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola also spent three years. He presented the victory to Hatton.

Oasis vocalist Gallagher, who brought the Hatton belt into the ring with his brother, Noel, ahead of his fight in Las Vegas withru Malignaggi, also lost.
"It was very sad to hear the news about Ricky Hatton. It was a great honor to know him and bring his championship belt. Rest in peace, the champion, live forever," Liam Gallagher wrote on X.
