Launching Economic Stimulus Packages, Government Encourages Growth Through 17 Strategic Programs

JAKARTA - The government officially launched the 2025 Economic Stimulus Package which includes a total of 17 programs, which are divided into three main groups, namely 8 acceleration programs for 2025, 4 advanced programs that will continue in 2026, and 5 programs focused on job creation.

Meanwhile, the main objective of this package is to strengthen social protection, expand job opportunities, and encourage growth in national strategic sectors.

Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto said that President Prabowo Subianto had given the green light to the implementation of these programs.

"Earlier, there was a meeting with the President and a meeting with the President discussed the policies to be taken which were named the Economic Package Program in 2025, which consisted of 8 acceleration programs in 2025, 4 programs continued in 2026, and 5 programs related to the government's mainstay for employment," Airlangga said at the Press Conference, Monday, September 15.

The following is a complete list of Economic Packages:

8 program acceleration program 2025:

1. college graduate internship program (maximally fresh graded 1 year)

2. Expansion of pph article 21 DTP for workers in sectors related to tourism

3. Food assistance for the period October-November 2025

4. Work Accident Insurance Contribution (JKK) and Death Security (JKM) for online/ojol transportation BPUs (including blocking motorcycle taxis, drivers, couriers, and logistics) for 6 years

5. BPJS Employment Residential Service Benefit Program (MLT)

6. Intensive Cash Work Program (cash for work) of the Ministry of Transportation and the Ministry of Finance

7. PP28/2025 Implementation Deregulation Program

8. Urban Program (Pilot Project DKI Jakarta) improves the quality of settlements and provision of marketing platforms and Gigs MSMEs

4 programs continued in the 2026 program:

1. Extension of the term of use of the Final PPh 0.5 percent for MSME Taxpayers in 2026 and Adjustments for Final PPh Recipients 0.5 percent for MSME Taxpayers

2. Extension of PPh 21 DTP --> for Workers in the Tourism-related Sector (APBN 2026)

3. PPh Article 21 DTP - for Workers in the Labor Intensive Industry (APBN 2026)

4. JKK and JKM Luran Discount Programs for all recipients of Non-Wage Recipients (BPU)

5 Manpower Absorption Programs:

1. Operational KDKMP (Koperasi Desa/Kurahan Merah Putih)

2. Replanting at the People's Plantation

3. Red and White Fishermen's Village

4. Revitalization of Tambak Pantura

5. Modernization of Fishing Boats
