Menkomdigi Regarding Prabowo's Video In Cinemas: A Form Of Public Transparency
JAKARTA - The Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs, Meutya Hafid, responded to the video of the government's performance achievements that were shown in theaters. According to him, the show is a form of public transparency.
"In principle, public communication must be carried out in various spaces, various spaces. We also see this in the form of public transparency. The public must know that the programs are already running, what has been running, then how it is implemented," said Meutya at the DPR building, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday, September 15.
"I think that is one of the tasks of the government to communicate and also to be transparent from programs," he continued.
Asked about whether the broadcast was an order from the president, Meutya emphasized that it was part of public communication.
"Earlier I answered yes, we communicated publicly in many ways. Not only Komdigi but also PCO and other friends to carry out delivery and also transparency of information from government programs," he said.
