The 2025 MotoGP Standings After Marc Marquez Won The San Marino GP

JAKARTA - Ducati racer, Marc Marquez, managed to continue his positive trend after winning the 2025 San Marino MotoGP title. The collection of points continues to grow and strengthen his name in the top position.

In the main race which took place on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at the Misano Circuit, Marc Marquez started his title race from fourth.

Marquez was affixed by Marco Bezzecchi near the end of the race, but he managed to keep his dominance out as fastest until the end of the round.

The status of the winner in the San Marino MotoGP makes The Baby Alien stronger at the top of the MotoGP standings. The Spaniard is now collecting 512 points.

This score also resulted in a separate record, where Marquez was named the rider who collected the most points in one season in the MotoGP era.

Marquez managed to distance himself from his younger brother, Alex Marquez, who finished third at the Misano Circuit. Marc Marquez is now 182 points ahead of Alex.

Following behind the Marquez brothers is Francesco Bagnaia with 237 points in third place. The host racer who is also a teammate of Marc Marquez did not manage to add points for failing to finish.

Bagnaia was forced to end the race early, to be precise on the ninth lap. He had an incident of slipping while crossing the cornering track.

Meanwhile, Bezzecchi, who finished second at GP San Marino, followed Bagnaia in fourth place in the standings. The Aprilia racer has now collected 229 points.
