China Masters 2025:atur Kambuh, Gregoria Ditarik
JAKARTA The Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) decided to withdraw Gregoria Mariska Tunjung's participation from the China Masters and Korea Open 2025 tournaments because the vertigo had relapsed.
Gregoria, the bronze medalist at the 2024 Paris Olympics, is actually already in Shenzhen to face the 2025 China Masters which took place on 15-21 September 2025 at the Shenzhen Bay Sports Center.
"However, upon arrival at the Chinese Masters city, he complained that his vertigo illness had relapsed again," PBSI wrote in an official statement received by the media.

Head of the Development and Achievement Division (Head of Binpres) PBSI, Eng Hian, said that Gregoria complained that her vertigo had relapsed after the team landed in China on Sunday, September 14, 2025.
"I immediately asked him to rest, but until this afternoon his condition was not stable. I then discussed with his coach Imam Tohari and finally he was withdrawn," said Eng Hian.
Eng Hian added that Gregoria would return to Jakarta to undergo intensive care and recovery.
"We will wait for Gregoria to recover completely and will not force her to quickly return to the field. Hopefully the examination and recovery will run smoothly," said Eng Hian.
Gregoria's resignation left 14 representatives in the 2025 China Masters. As for the women's singles sector, only Putri Kusuma Wardani will fight alone.
Meanwhile, the Korea Open 2025 will take place on 23-28 September 2025. The BWF Super 500 level event was held at the Suwon Gymnasium.
