China Masters 2025: Indonesia Sends 14 Representatives
JAKARTA Indonesia sent 14 representatives to face the 2025 China Masters which will take place this week.
The Super 750 BWF level tournament will take place on September 15-21, 2025 at Shenzhen Bay Sports Center, Shenzhen, China. The total prize provided was US$1,250,000 or Rp20.5 billion.
From the men's singles sector, Jonatan Christie participated in this tournament after previously missing the Hong Kong Open 2025 Super 500 BWF last week.
Apart from Jonathan, Indonesian men's singles also sent Alwi Farhan and Anthony Sinisuka Ginting. Alwi previously reached the quarter-finals at the Hong Kong Open, while Ginting was eliminated early in the first half.

From the women's singles, Indonesia only sent Putri Kusuma Wardani. Previously, the name Gregoria Mariska Tunjung was in the lottery, but was withdrawn by PBSI because it was not fit.
Then in the men's doubles sector, this will be a trial event for the new pair Muhammad Rian Ardianto / Yeremia Rambitan. Rian / Yeremia will also play together at the Korea Masters 2025 next week.
This change in composition made Fajar Alfian try again with Muhammad Shohibul Fikri. The couple previously played together at the Japan and China Open 2025 last July.
Their duet was a success because they managed to win the title at the China Open after reaching the quarter-finals when they appeared in Japan.
Furthermore, from the women's doubles there are Lanny Tria Mayasari/Amallia Cahaya Pratiwi, Rachel Alllessya Rose/Febi Setianingrum, and Febriana Dwi Puji Kusuma/Meilysa Trias Puspitasari.
Finally, from the mixed doubles number, Indonesia sent Jafar Hidayatullah/Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu, Amri Syahnawi/Nita Violina Marwah, and Adnan Maulana/Indah Cahya Sari Jamil.
