BYD Yangwang U8L Launches In Bamboo Curtain Country, Brings This Sophisticated Technology
JAKARTA - BYD through its luxury subbrand Yangwang officially launched Yangwang U8L in the Chinese market, which is priced at 1.28 million yuan or around Rp. 2.7 billion.
Quoting from the Carnewschina page, Monday, September 15, this one car is embedded with the latest technology known as Good's Eye which is a high-end advanced driving assistance system.
In dimensions, Yangwang U8L has a length of 5,400 mm, a width of 2,049 mm, a height of 1,921 mm with a wheelbase of 3,250 mm. Using the e4 platform (Yisifang) BYD, Yangwang U8L can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/hour in 3.5 seconds.
The car has a minimum turn radius of 5.45 m, and supports tire stability control during the tire burst scenario, even at high speeds, tank spins, crab roads, and emergency buoys above water. A total of 13 driving modes are offered, including in snow, sand, and flood conditions.

From the mechanical heart side, this car is equipped with a 2.0T engine, a Blade 55.53 kWh battery package, and four electric motors, providing a combined output of 1,180 hp and 1,520 Nm torque.
The pure electric range is 200 km and the comprehensive reach is 1,160 km. Fuel tank capacity is 90 L. It takes 13.5 minutes to recharge the battery from 30 to 80 percent below fast charging (DC).
The advanced driving assistance solution comes from the "God's Eye" BYD A (DiPilot 600) which utilizes three lidars, five millimeter wave radars, 14 ultrasonic radars, and 18 cameras to realize high-speed NOA, city NOA, automatic parking assistance, and long-distance parking assistance.
The Yangwang U8L cabin adopted a six-seat 2+2+2 layout and a maximum baggage volume of 1,115 L. The cockpit features a 300 BYD DiLink system powered by a 3nm cockpit chip. There is a 12.8-inch OLED curved central control screen, 23.6-inch instrument panel, co-pilot multimedia display, and AR-HUD.
Other configurations include 32 Dynaudio speakers, 1.7m2 panoramic sunsets, heating and cooling refrigerators, 13 power ports and USBs across the interior, 14 air bags, and 128 surrounding light colors. BYD also claims cabin noise levels are no more than 64.6 dB at 120 km/hour vehicle speeds.
