Vivo X300 Will Come With An AirDrop-like Feature, Can Be Connected To Apple Devices

JAKARTA vivo will present a series X300, its newest generation flagship cellphone, with many feature improvements. One of the features that is expected to be present on the phone is the file sharing system with iOS.

The phone is still adopting the Android operating system (OS), but thanks to a file sharing feature similar to AirDrop, the X300 series can share files with a number of Apple-owned devices. It is not yet known what the name of the feature will connect Android and iOS.

This move shows Vivo's ambition to compete in the mobile market, especially in flagship phones. This feature, and a number of other advanced features, allows vivo X300 to become a formidable competitor to Apple's new iPhone 17 series.

According to a Vivo executive, launching from Gizmochina, the X300 Pro and X300 series will debut with the OriginOS 6 operating system based on Android 16. This shows that X300 has adopted the most recent and leading software.

With this combination of OS and software, the latest file sharing feature in the X300 series can make it easier to send files to Macs or iPads. This capability does not require the same cable or WiFi connection as Android devices.

The only condition is that users must log in with a vivo account on both devices. Another model of Vivo, including iQOO 15, to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, will also have a similar feature as long as it gets an OriginOS 6 update.

According to leaks circulating, the vivo X300 Pro will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9500. This phone will be equipped with a four-camera system developed with Hasselblad. Meanwhile, the X300 series will come with a more compact design.
