The Increase In Jakarta RT/RW Operational Funds Starting In October, This Is The Amount
JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government will officially increase the RT/RW operational funds in Jakarta in October. The disbursement of this increase in operational funds was carried out after a change in the APBD for the 2025 fiscal year.
Previously, operational funds for RT amounted to Rp. 2,000,000, while for RW devices amounted to Rp. 2,500,000. Starting next month, their operating funds rose 25 percent.
"The RT is given in the amount of Rp. 2,500,000 per month and the RW is Rp. 3,125,000 per month starting October 1, 2025," said Head of the Administration Bureau of the DKI Jakarta Secretariat Abdul Khalit to reporters, Monday, September 15.
The increase in operational funds is stipulated in the Decree of the Governor (Kepgub) of DKI Jakarta Number 522 of 2025 concerning the Provision of Money for the Implementation of Tasks and Functions of RT and RW.
Previously, DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung realized that the budget to increase the RT/RW operational funds in Jakarta was quite large. A total of 30.7 thousand RTs and 2.7 thousand RWs in Jakarta whose operational funds must be increased to test Pramono-Rano campaign promises during the 2024 Pilkada.
This year, Pramono decided to increase operational funds by 25 percent starting in October. This value is different from Pramono's promise during the campaign which stated that the increase would be doubled.
"So the increase is gradual. For October we will increase it by 25 percent. Because it only increases by 25 percent, with so many RT/RWs, the budget burden is also quite large," said Pramono at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Wednesday, July 23.
At the beginning of the 2025 budget year, Pramono had not yet served, so the operational budget for RT/RW devices had not been allocated. The increase in operational funds has only been allocated from the 2025 revised APBD which will be ratified in the future.
