New Beginning Of IKA Prasmul Management, Prepares Strategic Programs And Real Actions

JAKARTA - The Prasetiya Mulya Alumni Association (IKA PRASMUL) started a new era which began with the inauguration of the management for the period 2025-2029 on Friday, September 12, 2025 at the Building 2 Activity Hall, Prasetiya Mulya Cilandak Campus. Various updates are offered as constructive steps during the new management period.

The inauguration procession was attended by the Chancellor of Prasetiya Mulya University, Dr. Noer Hassan Wirajuda, SH, MALD, LLM, GCrs, Chairman of IKA PRASMUL for the period 2025-2029, Edy Sutrisman, and Chairman of IKA PRASMUL for the period 2020-2025, Maspiyono.

The general chairmen of the leading university alumni association in Indonesia include ILUNI UI General Chair, Pramudya Azhar OktAVinanda, IA ITB General Chair, Agustin Warinangin, KAGAMA Deputy General Chair, Didik Purwadi, IKA PPM General Chair, David Chandrawan, and IA IPMI General Chair Eka Sri Dana Afriza also attended the event.

Chairman of IKA PRASMUL for the period 2025-2029, Edy Sutrisman (MSM 47 alumni), emphasized his commitment to making IKA PRASMUL the glue of synergy between alumni, students, alma maters, and the wider community.

IKA PRASMUL is not only a place for friendship, but also a real contribution platform for the nation. With more than 17,000 alumni spread across Indonesia and abroad, we are ready to present the best ideas, collaborations, and competencies to bring Indonesia forward," said Edy in a written broadcast, September 13.

Various strategic programs are the main focus, ranging from business matching to alumni entrepreneurship, across-generation mentoring through Prasmulyan Buddy, to opening internship and career access for students on the alumni company network.

The Chairperson of IKA PRASMUL for the previous period, Maspiyono, supported this leadership transition by emphasizing leadership continuity.

This leadership relay is not the end, but the beginning of a bigger synergy. I believe the new management will expand the contribution of Prasetiya Mulya alumni to the nation," said Maspiyono.

In this inauguration ceremony, IKA PRASMUL also launched a new identity in the form of organizational names, logos, and taglines. This momentum confirms the commitment of alumni of Prasetiya Mulya to play a bigger role as a credible and adaptive professional community in the midst of the nation's challenges.

The name of the organization that was originally called IKAPRAMA was changed to IKA PRASMUL. This new name reflects the spirit of closer connection and makes IKA PRASMUL more relevant as a strategic forum for alumni in the modern era.

The latest IKA PRASMUL logo features a modern design that reflects the relationship, synergy, and forward movement. Lines and dynamic forms symbolize the spirit of cross-generational collaboration, while color choices represent the credibility, optimism, and courage of Prasmul alumni in facing the challenges of the times.

The new tagline, namely 'Empowering Alumni, Enabling Impact' confirms the alumni' mission as a change agent that presents real contributions, not only to the internal community, but also to the nation and the world.

The Chancellor of Prasetiya Mulya University as well as an international diplomatic figure in Indonesia, Dr. Noer Hassan Wirajuda, SH, MALD, LL.M, GCrs, believes that PRASMUL IKA can help present solutions to overcome the various challenges faced by the Indonesian nation.

This nation is facing various challenges ranging from economic, social, to geopolitical. The role of alumni of Prasetiya Mulya as a professional and leader in various sectors is very strategic.
