JCI At The End Of The Week Weakened By 2.12 Percent To The Level Of 4,496.06
JAKARTA - The Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) closed lower on trading weekends, Friday, April 24. JCI closed down 2.12 percent or 97.50 points to the level of 4,496.06.
Closing the trade, 111 stocks rose, 276 stocks fell, and 134 stocks were stagnant. The trading volume was recorded at 6.26 billion shares and was transacted for IDR 6.23 trillion.
Binaartha Sekuritas analyst, M. Nafan Aji Gustama said, in addition to the COVID-19 pandemic and the lack of remdesivir gilead in curing the COVID-19 virus, it put pressure on the market.
"The results from various manufacturing data and purchasing manager index (PMI) services for developed economies experienced a contraction and also put pressure on the market," he explained to VOI.
This afternoon, stocks that are among the top gainers, including PT Putra Rajawali Kencana Tbk (PURA) which rose 11.11 percent to Rp90, PT Sariguna Primatirta Tbk (CLEO) which rose 6.64 percent to Rp.45o, and PT Trinitan Metals and Minerals Tbk (PURE) which strengthened 5.83 percent to Rp109.
Meanwhile, stocks that are among the top losers include PT Kresna Graha Investama Tbk (KREN) which fell 6.96 percent to Rp147, PT Pakuwon Jati Tbk (PWON) which fell 6.91 percent to Rp350, and PT Borneo. Olah Sarana Sukses Tbk (BOSS) which fell 6.74 percent to Rp83.
