Polda Metro Holds Large-Scale Patrol, 184 Personnel Deployed, Brimob To Criminal Investigation

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya held large-scale patrols to equalize the Jakarta area and its surroundings, Saturday, September 13. A total of 184 joint personnel from Brimob, Dalmas, Sabhara, to the Criminal Investigation Unit were deployed.

"Each rayon is strengthened by 92 personnel. The joint forces consist of Brimob, Dalmas, Sabhara, and the Criminal Investigation Unit," said Head of the Operations Bureau of the Polda Metro Jaya, AKBP Aritonang.

The series of patrols held today will use two routes. The first Rayon is said to start from the East Jakarta area. Meanwhile, Rayon two starts from South Jakarta.

"This patrol is divided into two rayons. The first ray is from the Regional Police to Matraman, Pramuka, North Jakarta, Pelabuhan, Sunter, Kemayoran, Manggarai, Tebet, Pancoran, then returns to the Regional Police," he said.

"The second ray is from the Regional Police to Kampung Melayu, Tebet Selatan, Lebak Bulus, Pondok Indah, Arterial Permata Hijau, Student Army, Palmerah, Tomang, Harmoni, Monas, and return to the Regional Police," continued Aritonang.

This large-scale patrol aims to provide a sense of security and strengthen dialogue with the public. Officers will directly ask the public about the security situation in their environment.

"We put forward a dialogist patrol. Members go to the field to greet the public, listen to information, complaints, or input. The goal is to get the Police closer to the residents," he said.

Aritonang also reminded his staff to always be humane to the community. But still alert and responsive.

"This patrol must be ready, visible, and useful. Hopefully the implementation will run smoothly, the members will be safe, and the community will feel safe," he said.
