Judge Rejects Justin Baldoni's Request To Make Taylor Swift Witness In Blake Lively Case
JAKARTA - The judge rejected Justin Baldoni's request to make Taylor Swift a witness in the case against Blake Lively. The refusal was announced on Friday, September 12 local time.
Judge Lewis Liman said Baldoni's lawyer waited too long to schedule Swift as a witness. In addition, they cannot wait to extend their filing until September 30.
"Failed to submit a request, the request to be a witness was rejected," Lewis Liman said in a statement.
Previously, Justin Baldoni's side revealed that Taylor Swift agreed to be a witness between October 20 and 25 and they asked for an extension of the validation period for witnesses until that date.
On the other hand, Taylor Swift's lawyers said they had nothing to do with the problems between Baldoni and Lively, but she was willing to be a witness if needed.
